You Don't Have to Live Nearby
Many women outside of the Seattle area don't have a menopause specialist anywhere close to home. Septima's telehealth visits close that gap. If you are physically located in Washington State, you can be seen by Heather from wherever you are within state limits.
Wherever you are in Washington State, telehealth visits are available to you, including from:
- Spokane
- Tacoma
- Vancouver, WA
- Cle Elum
- Yakima
- Olympia
- Wenatchee
- ...and everywhere in between
How a Telehealth Visit Works
- You book your visit online, the same way you would for an in-person appointment and choose the telehealth option.
- You receive a secure video link ahead of time. All you need is a private space and a phone, tablet or computer.
- Your visit runs the same length as an in-person one, with the same time for history, education and questions.
- Any prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice, anywhere in Washington.
- Follow-up messaging and future visits can continue by telehealth for as long as that works best for you.
In-Person or Telehealth?
An in-person visit is generally preferred for your first intake appointment, since it allows for a pelvic exam, if needed. That said, this is a preference, not a requirement. If an in-person visit isn't realistic for you, telehealth is available for your intake and every visit after it.
Whichever you choose, every visit includes the same in-depth appointment time, the same 20 free follow-up messages and the same access to Septima's educational library.
What You'll Need
- You must be physically located in Washington State at the time of your visit since state law requires this for telehealth care. You do not need to be a permanent resident. Temporary visitors and those staying in WA are welcome
- A private space for your visit
- A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and stable internet connection
